Ammerud Håndball was one of 54 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Ellingsrud Vårcup 2024. They participated with four teams in Jenter 11, Nivå 2 (født 2012), Jenter 11/12, Nivå 3 (født 2011/2012) and Jenter 14, Nivå 2 (født 2009) respectively. The team in Jenter 14, Nivå 2 (født 2009) made it to the the Semi final in Sluttspill, but lost it against Vestby Håndballklubb by 10-14.

In addition to this, Ammerud Håndball have participated in Ellingsrud Vårcup before. During Ellingsrud Vårcup 2023, Ammerud Håndball had 7 teams playing in Jenter 10 (født 2012), Jenter 11, Nivå 1 (født 2011), Jenter 11, Nivå 2 (født 2011), J14 Innledende and Jenter 14, Nivå 2 (født 2008) respectively. The team in Jenter 14, Nivå 2 (født 2008) made it to the the Semi final in Sluttspill, but lost it against Oppegård IL Gul by 2-10.

Ammerud Håndball originates from Oslo, which is the same city as where Ellingsrud Vårcup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Ellingsrud Vårcup 2024 (Among others: Nit/Hak Håndballklubb, Furuset Håndball IF, Rælingen Håndballklubb, Oppsal, Kjelsås IL, Ullensaker/Kisa IL Håndball, Njård, Ellingsrud IL, Bækkelagets SK and Gjerdrum IL).
